LEXINGTON, Ky. (LEX 18)– Police say a 17-year-old girl is in the hospital after a shooting in an apartment.
Officers responded to the scene around 8:45 p.m. Thursday night at an apartment complex at Palumbo Drive and Man O’ War Blvd.
It was first called out as an accidental shooting, but investigators are now saying they believe someone shot her.
According to police, the teenager’s injuries are “possibly” life-threatening.
Investigators are questioning several people who were inside the apartment when the shooting happened, along with people in neighboring units.
