LEXINGTON, Ky. (LEX 18)– At the end of day four of the Kentucky Blood Center’s annual ‘Big Blue Slam’ blood drive, Kentucky is ahead of Florida–leading 1,247 to 1,162.
This year’s ‘Big Blue Slam’ is the 11th blood battle between the Cats and Gators to see which fan base can donate the most blood.
The competition runs through Friday and is at all Kentucky Blood Center donor centers and blood drives.
Kentucky donors will receive a long-sleeve t-shirt as a way of saying thanks.
