MERCER COUNTY, Ky. (LEX 18)– With the temperatures expected to dip into the bitter cold this weekend, officials in Mercer County are preparing a warming shelter for the needy.
The shelter will be at the Lion’s Club at 450 East Factory Street in Harrodsburg.
The shelter will open Sunday night at 8 p.m. and will remain open through Monday at 7.
Harrodsburg Baptist Church will also be preparing a meal for those at the shelter.
