ENNIS, Texas. (LEX 18) – The Ennis Police Department is reporting that a missing Kentucky woman is believed to have been found deceased after disappearing over a week ago.

A Facebook post reports that a body, matching the description of Emily Wade, 38, was found in a creek. It appears she was washed away by flood waters at some point after she disappeared from a friend’s home.

The body will be transported to the Dallas County Medical Examiner’s Office for positive identification and determination on the cause of death.

Relatives tell LEX 18 Wade moved to Ennis, Texas, from Harrison County earlier this month.
