BRACKEN COUNTY, Ky. (LEX 18)— Kentucky State Police are investigating a fatal collision between a passenger car and a tractor trailer in Bracken County.
The collision happened around 11:57 p.m. Tuesday on the AA Highway just South of KY 1019.
Preliminary investigation revealed that a 2005 Chrysler 300 operated by 36-year-old Michael R Burns, of Maysville, crossed the center median of the AA Highway and collided with a 2019 Volvo Tractor pulling a trailer operated by 60-year-old Kenneth Cook, of Spencer, Iowa.
Burns was pronounced deceased on scene by the Bracken County Coroner. Toxicology will be performed and alcohol is believed to be a factor.
