(LEX 18) – A man dubbed the “Traveling Bandit” bank robber has been identified as a Pike County man.
Jason Lee Robinson, of Pikeville, Ky. was arrested in Fruita, Colorado. The FBI says Robinson has robbed at least seven banks in six states since December 28, 2018.
The robberies included heists in Florida, North Carolina, Tennessee, Alabama, Illinois and Utah. The most recent robbery was a bank in Price Branch, Utah.
The FBI announced his arrest via Twitter on Thursday.
