JESSAMINE COUNTY, Ky. (LEX 18) – The Jessamine County Sheriff’s Office is warning residents about a phone scam.
Victims have been getting phone calls saying that the sheriff’s office has a warrant for their arrest. Victims are then instructed to get a gift card and send in the amount they owe for that warrant.
Sheriff’s officials will never call you and they will never ask for a gift card.
