JOHNSON COUNTY, Ky. (LEX 18)– Johnson County Schools are closed the rest of the week after a staff member was diagnosed with hepatitis A.

School officials say the staff member is a non-food service employee.

In addition to the hep A case, officials have also confirmed cases of both influenza A and B at several schools in the district.

Officials say they will take this time to sanitize the schools as a precaution.
