LINCOLN COUNTY, Ky. (LEX 18)- Firefighters rescued a horse out of a muddy drainage ditch in Lincoln County Thursday.
The horse was discovered stuck in the mud on a farm off Hwy 643. Crews used a pulley system to lift the animal out of the water.
The horse is now out of the mud and doing ok. It is cold, but firefighters say the horse is healthy. They’ve put a tarp and blankets on the horse to warm it up.
