BOWLING GREEN, Ky. (WNKY)– Police issued two citations to students at Bowling Green High School on Wednesday after one student was accused performing a sex act on himself during class and another student is accused of filming the incident.

Both students are juveniles and police can’t release their names.

According to WNKY, the student accused of performing the act on himself was cited with first-degree indecent exposure, a misdemeanor. The child accused of filming that student was cited on a felony charge of video voyeurism.

Neither of the children were taken into police custody.

Schools spokeswoman Leslie McCoy said the incident did not involve violence or threats to any students or employees but did warrant a call to police.
