HARLAN COUNTY, Ky. (WRIL) — A JROTC instructor turned himself in after being accused of inappropriate contact with a Harlan County High School student, officials said.

WRIL report that 47-year-old Daniel Tuttle of Middlesboro was arrested in the case.
He is booked into the Harland County Detention Center, charged with first-degree sexual abuse.
WRIL says Harlan Superintendent Brent Roark told them the complain was made last March 15 by the student’s family to Kentucky State Police officials.
Roark said Tuttle was placed on administrative leave March 16 and is no longer employed by the school system.
Tuttle previously worked for Middlesboro, Pineville and Bell County law enforcement agencies, although not during the time of the allegation, the station reports
