Artist Helps Montgomery Co. Sheriff’s Office After Death Of K9

MONTGOMERY COUNTY, Ky. (LEX 18)– Montgomery County Sheriff David Charles said that a local artist helped out his office after learning about the loss of their K9.

In a post on the Montgomery County Sheriff’s Office Facebook page, Charles said that local artist Harley Dougherty carved a German Shepherd for the Department after learning K9 Viper had died.

The carving will be raffled off to help raise funds for a new K9 for the department.
