ELLIOTT COUNTY, Ky. (LEX 18)– Kentucky State Police are investigating a deadly stabbing in Elliott County.
It happened around 3 a.m. Monday.
Police say the stabbing happened during a fight between 40-year-old Shannon Weddington, of Sandy Hook, and 32-year-old Adam Kelly, of Florida.
Kelly was injured and flown to a local hospital where he later died.
Weddington is in the Rowan County Detention Center charged with murder.
