FAYETTE COUNTY, Ky. (LEX 18) — Fayette County Public Schools is cancelling all classes and activities Thursday, as bitterly cold weather settles into the region.
Officials also cancelled classes on Wednesday, after noting “forecasts calling for dangerously cold temperatures.”
School officials said they would watch the forecasts on Thursday before making any decisions about whether class will be back in session Friday.
The YMCA of Central Kentucky offers out of school days programming.
