HAZARD, Ky. (LEX 18) – Two former caregivers have been convicted of abusing and failing to help a disabled person.

In 2016, 42-year-old John Hundley admitted to dragging a victim across the floor and onto the porch of a facility for the physically and mentally disabled in Hazard. Penny Caudill, 43, admitted that she was a witness to the attack and admitted to not getting help or filling a report.

Hundley has been sentenced to three years in prison, probated for five years.

Caudill entered an Alford plea and will be sentenced later this month.
