BOONE COUNTY, Ky. (WLWT)– A body found in a Northern Kentucky pond has been identified.
The Boone County coroner identified the man as Earl Callen, who had previously been missing.
The body was found at about 4 p.m. Sunday on Low River Road in Union.
Callen disappeared from his home Dec. 20.
The local sheriff’s office said that he reportedly had a psychotic episode and walked into the woods.
Crews searched for him for several days before calling off the search Jan. 3.
The coroner and water rescue teams removed his body from the pond.
