CLAY COUNTY, Ky. (LEX 18)– One person is dead after an accident involving a bicycle in Clay County.
The crash happened around 7:30 p.m. Wednesday near the Rite Kwik Market on US 421 in Manchester. Troopers say Randall Eversole, 53, of Annville, KY was riding his bicycle on US HWY 421 in the northbound direction when he was struck by a 1995 Dodge Ram pickup traveling northbound operated by Crystal G. Lunsford, 40, of Mckee, KY.
Eversole was pronounced dead at the hospital. Lunsford was cited at the scene for operating a motor vehicle on a suspended license.
