FLINT, Mich. (LEX 18) – The man accused of killing a man in a rural Kentucky gas station has been captured in Flint, Michigan.
Investigators say that Phillip Lee Lewis, 25, shot and killed Gary Medlin as he attempted to flee during a robbery at the A&B Quickstop in Gray, Ky.
Medlin was a father of two.
Lewis was taken into custody by a federal task force in Flint. Lewis is charged with murder and robbery 1st degree. He will also have federal charges pending.
Lewis will be lodged in Flint Michigan until he can be extradited to KY.
