Jury Finds Man Guilty In Connection To Louisville Nightclub Shooting

LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WAVE 3)– A man accused in a shooting at a nightclub that left six people hurt has been found guilty.

32-year-old Kenneth Mattingly Jr. was charged in the shooting at Cole’s Place back in March of 2018.

Police say he fired eight shots during a fight, hitting six people who all survived.

The crime was caught on surveillance video.

Mattingly faced several charges including assault and wanton endangerment.

A jury found him guilty on all charges and recommended he serve 40 years in prison.

Formal sentencing is set for April 11.
