Pair Wanted In Connection To Theft At Laurel County Store

LAUREL COUNTY, Ky. (LEX 18)– The Laurel County Sheriff’s Department is searching for two people they say are connected to a theft at a local store.

It happened around 11:12 p.m. Thursday at the Pit Stop Market & Deli off KY 192.

Officials say a man and woman entered the store and while the attendant went to a rear room to fix a toilet, the man went behind the counter to steal two moneybags with an undisclosed amount of cash. The pair then fled in a red colored SUV or minivan.

Video surveillance throughout the store captured numerous images of the man and woman.
