PIKE COUNTY, Ky. (LEX 18)– An investigation is underway after a man was shot and killed in Freeburn.
It happened around 5:29 a.m. Saturday in the Johnson Bottom community.
Kentucky State Police say they were called out to the scene for a report of shots fired. When troopers arrived on scene, they discovered an altercation had taken place in a residence. During the altercation, Greg Fields had suffered fatal injuries as the result of a gunshot wound.
No arrest has been made at this time. KSP say the case will be presented to the Pike County Grand Jury for consideration.
