LEXINGTON, Ky. (LEX 18) — Keeneland said Tuesday it will host two hiring events to fill more than 2,000 seasonal positions ahead of the 2019 spring meet.

The racetrack will open a hiring center Feb. 25 and conduct a job fair March 9, officials said.

The available jobs include food service, admissions, security, parking and retail sales, among others.

The spring meet runs April 4 through 26.

“Keeneland offers seasonal staff the opportunity to work with a talented group of professionals,
hone your own individual skill set and be part of a uniquely Kentucky tradition,” Keeneland
President and Chief Executive Officer Bill Thomason said in a statement. “Our seasonal workforce is such an
important part of the Keeneland team. … These folks become family that we welcome back year after year.”

Prospective workers can apply at the hiring center (on the second floor of the grandstand) Feb. 25 and March 28.

A job fair will be held March 9 at the Keeneland Entertainment Center from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m.

People can also apply online at the Keeneland website.
