HARRODSBURG, Ky. (LEX 18) — Police in Harrodsburg arrested a man accused in a stabbing, officials said on Wednesday morning.
Authorities say 31-year-old Lucas Claunch has been charged with first-degree assault in the case.
Police have released few details in the case but said officers responded Tuesday to reports of a stabbing.
Officers “found the victim with a severe wound and bleeding profusely,” according to police.
The victim was airlifted to the University of Kentucky Medical Center. Officials did not provide information on the victim’s condition.
Claunch was being held in the Boyle County Detention Center.
