Report: McCracken Co. High School Principal Suspended Amid Abuse Probe

MCCRACKEN COUNTY, Ky. (WPSD) — The McCracken County High School principal has been suspended with pay after being charged with two misdemeanors related to student abuse, his lawyer says.

WPSD reports that the principal, Michael Ceglinski, is accused of not reporting abuse of his students.

The school’s athletic director, Kris Garrett, and fishing coach, John Parks, also are under investigation in the case.

Ceglinski’s lawyer said the charges against his client are unfounded.

The McCracken County Sheriff’s Office is expected to provide more information about the case later Wednesday morning.
