BOONE COUNTY, Ky. (WLWT)– A suspicious package prompted a call to the bomb squad at the Cincinnati-Northern Kentucky International Airport on Friday.
It happened around 12:15 a.m. at the DHL Terminal.
Investigators say some sort of package was found with a detonator attached.
Multiple emergency crews were called and the package was moved to a remote location.
Cincinnati’s Hazardous Device Unit was also called in and after an investigation, said it was safe.
The scare did not impact any flights.
