CLAY CITY, Ky. (LEX 18)- A man was taken into custody following a manhunt in Clay City.
Kentucky State Police say they attempted to stop a vehicle that had been reported stolen. There was a brief pursuit.
That’s when the man was cornered and attempted to run over the trooper. Troopers tell LEX 18 that shots were fired by an officer.
The man then fled on foot to Sky View Lane. After receiving several tips from the public, Troopers arrested Michael Osborne and lodged him in the Powell County Detention Center.
Osborne, was wanted for armed robbery in Powell County.
