FRANKFORT, Ky. (LEX 18) – Law enforcement officials say that a hostage situation has ended peacefully following an hours-long standoff in a Frankfort mobile home park.

All three agencies in Franklin County have been called to the Capital Mobile Home Park off Georgetown Road in response to a domestic situation.

Franklin County Sheriff’s Officials say the original call was for a man holding a woman being assaulted. Officers went to the door and say the man refused to come out.
