LEXINGTON, Ky. (LEX 18)– A woman is injured following a collision with a Lexington police cruiser.
It happened around 4:54 a.m. Tuesday on Main Street.
Police say the two vehicles were heading the same direction when they side swiped each other at the intersection of Main and Limestone.
The driver of the passenger vehicle was taken to the hospital for complaints of a back injury.
The officer was not injured.
There was minor damage to both vehicles.
