NICHOLASVILLE, Ky. (LEX 18) — East Jessamine Middle School was placed on a brief lockdown Wednesday morning following a perceived threat.
Officials say the student reported that she saw a suspicious adult in the building with what appeared to be a gun.
The threat was quickly determined to be a false alarm.
After the lockdown was lifted, the school issued the following statement:
