HARDIN COUNTY, Ky. (LEX 18)– A suspect is in critical condition after leading authorities on a multi-county chase that ended with an officer-involved shooting.
It happened around 6:30 p.m. Tuesday in Hardin County.
Police say they were involved in a chase that started in Elizabethtown and led into LaRue County before coming to an end on Highway 84 outside Sonora.
The suspect was taken to UofL Hospital with several gunshot wounds.
No city or state police were injured during the incident.
It’s unclear what started the chase, or what led to the shooting.
