LEXINGTON, Ky. (LEX 18) – Parents affected by the cancellation of FCPS can sign their students up for the “Out Of School Day” at three YMCA of Central Kentucky Locations.
Children from kindergarten through middle school can attend the program. The organization will offer arts and crafts, sports and other activities. The program costs $35 for members and non-members.
The program lasts from 7 a.m. – 6 p.m. at three YMCA of Central Kentucky locations that include:
- C.M. Gatton Beaumont YMCA
- North Lexington Family YMCA
- Whitaker Family YMCA
Children must bring a healthy, non-perishable nut-free lunch and a swimsuit and towel in a labeled backpack. Financial assistance is available.
