BEREA, Ky. (LEX 18) – A campus public safety alert was issued at Berea College after two suspicious men were spotted attempting to enter two buildings.
According to college officials, police were called after two men attempted to enter through the front door of Bingham Hall and a side door of Dana Hall.
A spokesperson for Berea College Public Safety says due diligence of residents in the building prevented the men from being able to enter the buildings.
Police and Campus Safety officers attempted to locate the men but they left the premises. Berea Police say the two men have been identified and have been banned from campus.
