BOONE COUNTY, Ky. (LEX 18)– Dozens of people are without homes after a two-alarm fire in Florence.
It happened around 2 a.m. Sunday on Rio Grande Circle.
Two people were taken to the hospital with minor injuries from smoke inhalation.
Firefighters evacuated 24 apartments, forcing about 50 people to find somewhere else to stay.
The fire reportedly started in a second story apartment before spreading to the attic.
