LEXINGTON, Ky. (LEX 18)– The hearing for a Lexington bar accused of over-serving a man, who later caused a deadly wrong-way crash, is scheduled for Tuesday.

The Lexington Alcoholic Beverage Control Office hearing will focus on Horseshoes Kentucky Grill and Saloon on North Broadway.

Police say after leaving the bar in January, Joey Lee Bailey drove the wrong direction on I-75. He hit and killed a family of five from Michigan.

Bailey also died in the crash.

The coroner’s report showed he had a blood alcohol level of more than three times the legal limit.

The hearing was originally scheduled for last month, but was postponed due to a scheduling conflict.
