LAUREL COUNTY, Ky. (LEX 18)– A man wanted in connection to a robbery at a Laurel County truck stop has been arrested.

The incident happened around 6:30 a.m. March 1 at Loves, approximately 10 miles south of London.

Officials say since the robbery, they have received numerous tips identifying the man in surveillance photos as 49-year-old John L. Schell, of London. They were recently tipped off to his location and traveled to Pleasure View Road with an arrest warrant.

Schell was arrested at his home without incident.

He is facing numerous charges, including second-degree robbery, first-degree wanton endangerment, and first-degree fleeing or evading police.

It was later determined that the 2006 Chevrolet van Schell was operating during the robbery had been reported stolen.
