Boyle County Teen Sentenced As Juvenile For Manslaughter, Theft

BOYLE COUNTY, Ky. (The Advocate-Messenger)– The Boyle County teen who plead guilty to manslaughter in her step-mother’s death has been sentenced.

The Advocate Messenger reports Jenna Oakley was sentenced to 10 years in prison for manslaughter and five years for theft by unlawful taking.

The sentences are reported to run consecutively for a total of 15 years.

Earlier this year, Oakley plead guilty in the death of Rhonda Oakley back in 2016.

Last month, Oakley spoke out for the first time, reading a letter in court.

The paper reports Oakley is scheduled to be back in court to be sentenced as an adult later this month.
