HENDERSON, Ky. (LEX 18) – Road crews responded to the report of a backpack that began smoking after being struck by a Kentucky Transportation crew’s lawnmower.
Crews arrived to find the excavator with a mower attachment that had struck the small package. Inside, authorities found a one-pot mobile meth lab.
Fire trucks and police cars blocked US 60 as crews responded to the area.
No one was injured.
