SIMPSON COUNTY, Ky. (LEX 18)– The body of a man reported missing from Tennessee has been found in Kentucky, according to the Simpson County Sheriff’s Department.
Deputies say they got a call on Tuesday saying a vehicle was submerged in flood water.
After towing the vehicle out, they discovered that it belonged to Durrone Vernon Moore, of Gallatin, Tennessee.
According to the Gallatin Police Department, Moore’s girlfriend contacted them after she received a distressing phone call from him Monday night.
No one was in the vehicle when it was found.
Deputies reportedly found Moore’s body in the same area where they found his vehicle around 7 p.m. Thursday.
