CPSC Announces Recall Of Heating Pads Due To Fire And Burn Hazards

(LEX 18)– The U.S. Consumer Product Safety Commission has announced a recall of heating pads sold at T.J. Maxx and Marshalls due to fire and burn hazards.

The heating pads are from the brand Aroma Home and are called USB Heated Hottie Heating Pads. They are animal-themed and have sequins. They were sold in four styles: French Bull Dog, Sequin Cat Head, Sequin Fox Head, and Sequin Blue Owl. They were heated using a USB connection to a PC, laptop, power bank, car charger, or any other 5V USB port.

The CPSC said that if you bought this product, stop using it immediately and return the product to any T.J Maxx or Marshalls store for a full refund.

There are currently no incidents or injuries reported in the U.S.
