LEXINGTON, Ky. (LEX 18)– The Powerball Jackpot is nearing the half-billion dollar mark.
It is currently at $448 million. The drawing will be held on Wednesday.
A woman in Lexington said she was just looking to buy a styrofoam cooler, when it was brought to her attention that she could win $448 million. So she bought a Powerball ticket.
“I am not a big lottery player. my husband plays about every day. So I just rely on him to win it,” said Denise Diaz.
Diaz said if she won, she would buy a home, pay off bills, and live on a beach.
