KENTON COUNTY, Ky. (WCPO)– Lawyers for Nick Sandmann have filed a $275 million lawsuit against CNN, according to WCPO in Cincinnati.
The lawsuit was filed Tuesday afternoon and claims CNN helped fuel accusations of racist behavior by Sandmann and other Covington Catholic High School students.
Sandmann was featured prominently in a viral video from January where he’s seen standing face-to-face with a Native American activist in Washington, D.C.
Sandmann’s attorneys previously filed a lawsuit against The Washington Post, seeking $250 million in damages.
