Woman Arrested In Connection To Cemetery Vandalism

MARION COUNTY, Ky. (LEX 18)– A woman has been arrested after $3,000 in damage was found at a church cemeteryover the weekend.

According to The Lebanon Enterprise, 50 -year-old Deanna L. Rupa was taken into custody Wednesday night.

Ruppa is accused of driving a pick-up truck all around the cemetery, knocking down a bunch of shrubbery and small trees. She reportedly spray painted sidewalks in the area as well.

Ruppa was lodged in the Marion County Detention Center and faces one charge of first-degree criminal mischief.
