LEXINGTON, Ky. (LEX 18) — A Casey County man who was the subject of a Golden Alert has been found safe, Lexington police said Saturday morning.
Officials said 82-year-old Jesse Atwood was located by Winchester police around 7:15 a.m.
Atwood was taken to the hospital for treatment.
Atwood was visiting a home in the Hartland Parkway area when he went missing around 7:45 p.m. Friday.
Atwood has dementia and COPD, and he did not have his oxygen tanks with him. Family members said they thought he might have be trying to head to his home in Liberty.
