PIKE COUNTY, Ky. (Appalachian News-Express) – An Ashcamp man has been indicted on a Pike County church fire last year.
According to the Appalachian News-Express, Michael Adair, 24, was indicted in connection with the June arson and vandalism at the Union Association of Old Regular Baptists. Court documents say that Adair poured lighter fluid onto a pew and set the seat on fire.
Adair is charged with second-degree arson, criminal mischief and burglary. According to authorities, Adair turned himself in and confessed to the crimes.
