LEXINGTON, Ky. (LEX 18)– Police are investigating a homicide after finding a man dead near Green Acres Park.
A shots fired call came in just before 11 p.m. Monday from the 1500 block of Kirk Court.
Police say they found the man lying between houses on a walkway of the park.
The coroner pronounced the man dead at the scene from multiple gunshot wounds.
The coroner has identified the man as 42-year-old William Michael Haskins.
No word on suspects or motives at this time.
This is Lexington’s fifth homicide of the year, according to the coroner.
