SOMERSET, Ky. (LEX 18) – The Somerset Police Department has released the identity of a man killed in a collision Tuesday in Pulaski County.
According to officials, police responded to the intersection of KY914/Oakhill Road for a collision. On scene, it was determined that a 2003 Dodge Ram pickup operated by Travis Whitt, 17 of Bronston, Ky. was turning left to proceed onto Oakhill Rd. from the southbound turning lane of KY914. After the Dodge entered the intersection it struck a northbound Suzuki Motorcycle operated by Cody Dixon, 29 of Somerset.
Dixon died as a result of his injuries. He was not wearing a helmet.
