MADISON COUNTY, Ky. (LEX 18)– Two brothers charged with child abuse were back in a Madison County courtroom Wednesday.
Luke and Theodore Sampson entered the courtroom handcuffed. The two are charged with criminal abuse after police say that Luke allegedly encouraged Theodore to put an animal shock collar on Luke’s four-year-old son. Police say the uncle obliged.
On Wednesday, the brothers asked for their cases to be passed on to the grand jury. Both also asked for a lower bond.
The judge refused to reduce either man’s bond, saying that they’re both thought to be of danger to the community.
