WOLFE COUNTY, Ky. (LEX 18) – Wolfe County Search and Rescue helped assist with the rescue of a small calf.
A group of hikers in the Muir Valley Nature Preserve found the small calf at the bottom of a hill. The group was able to notify WCSART and the property owners.
The injured animal fell 80 feet and suffered a broken leg. He was taken to a vet.
