Three Sentenced In 2016 Beating Death Of Ohio Co. Man

DAVIESS COUNTY, Ky. (WFIE)– Three people have been sentenced for their roles in the 2016 beating death of an Ohio County man.

WFIE is reporting that William Howard, Melanie Howard, and Christopher Hill were all sentenced for the murder of 29-year-old Tromain Mackall.

Investigators believe Mackall was killed in Daviess County. His body was found stuffed in a toolbox in a Grayson County creek.

William Howard was sentenced to 30 years in prison after pleading guilty to attempted  murder, kidnapping, and tampering with evidence.

Melanie Howard and Christopher Hill were sentenced to 15 years after pleading guilty to lesser charges
