2 ID’d In Fatal Crash With Logging Truck In Johnson Co.

JOHNSON COUNTY, Ky. (LEX 18) — Kentucky State Police have identified two people killed in a collision with a logging truck.

Officials said 39-year-old Tonya Fletcher and 23-year-old Timothy Rowe, both of Salyersville, were killed around 3:30 p.m. March 21 in a crash on U.S. Highway 460 in Oil Springs.

Police said an investigation into the cause of the crash was “still in the preliminary stages” and will continue.

Police said Fletcher and Rowe were in a passenger vehicle involved in a crash with a logging truck.

Authorities had said one person was pronounced dead at the scene while the other died after being taken to an area hospital.
